  • Progeny, oocyte, and dead egg counts (±SEM) were determined for hermaphrodites of indicated genotypes at 16°, 20°, and 25° growth temperatures. A minimum of 15 hermaphrodites were examined [except for spe-10(eb112), for which 8 hermaphrodites were examined] until they either died or stopped laying, and the numbers shown are the average per hermaphrodite.

  • a ebEx316 is a simple repeat extrachromosomal transgene composed of pPD118.20 (myo-3∷gfp) and a 21,307-bp SacII/XhoI restriction fragment derived from cosmid AC3.

  • b ebEx423 is a simple repeat extrachromosomal transgene composed of pPD118.20 (myo-3∷gfp) and pSL43 (spe-10∷3x HA tag translational fusion to C-terminal end).

  • c ebEx496 is a complex extrachromosomal transgene composed of pPD118.20 (myo-3∷gfp) into which is cloned the insert from pSL43 together with spe-10(ok1149) genomic DNA.
