A total of 400 microsatellites were simulated according to the stepwise mutation model with μ= 2 × 10-4. Each model log-likelihood is the average from two structure runs with 5000 generations burn-in and 50,000 iterations. The prior for F (gamma distribution with mean 0.01 and standard deviation 0.05) puts most of its weight on low values of F. The highest likelihood run in each group is underlined.
