Amino acids were classified according to their capability to restore growth of sit4 pre and sit4 ubc mutants: ++, strong suppression as shown in Figure 10A; +, weak suppression as shown in Figure 10B; -, no suppression as shown in Figure 10C. Single amino acids and inositol were added at concentrations used in SC medium (120 μg/ml).
