  • Type, the type of zygotic barrier; o and u, overdominance and underdominance, respectively; VI and VH, the relative viabilities of the Indica homozygote and the heterozygote to the Japonica homozygote, respectively. The relative viability of the Japonica homozygote is 1 by definition. The other columns are the same as in Table 1. Either zygotic barrier at 46.6 or 78.9 cM on chromosome 4 could be replaced with slight increment of variance by a zygotic barrier.
