  • The table shows haplotype numbers and D' values for 253 independent chromosomes from Centre d'Etude du Polymorphism Humain (CEPH) families (Begovich et al. 1992, Table III). The D' values were computed after the two haplotypes found only in a single copy (0501-0302) and (0301-0303) were deleted. There are two multi-A alleles (0102 with i = 3 and 0103 with i = 2). There is a significant excess (at the 1% level, based on a χ2 test) of all haplotypes found in more than one copy, except for 0501-0503.
