Embedded Image and Embedded Image are estimates for all mutations, including lethals. Lethal mutation rate is 0.01 per genome per generation, and the mean number of lethals per genome in outcrossing parental generations at mutation-selection equilibrium is 0.5. To facilitate comparisons with the data in Table 6 and also because the main interests are to estimate the parameters for mildly deleterious mutations in most evolutionary genetics theory, MSE’s in this table are computed based on the parameters for the mildly deleterious mutations.
