After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from IUPUI, Ben worked as an analytical chemist at Pace Analytical Services. His desire to work independently on research projects in the field of epigenetics prompted him to pursue a Ph.D. where he obtained training in molecular biology, plant development, protein biochemistry, cancer biology, and bioinformatics. Ben is currently applying experimental and computational approaches to investigate how chromatin organization contributes to development and disease in human lymphocyte cell lineages. The results of Ben’s work have been published in multiple academic journals including GENETICS.
