CORRIGENDUM

In the paper by C. F. Aquadro, S. F. Deese, M. M. Bland, C. H. Langley and C. C. Laurie-Ahlberg (Genetics 114: 1165-1190; December, 1986) entitled "Molecular population genetics of the alcohol dehydrogenase gene region of Drosophila melanogaster," the authors with to correct a typographical error in the footnote to Table 3 concerning the calculation of D′_ij. The theoretical maximum of D_ij is min (p_A(1 - p_B), (1 - p_A)p_B) when D_ij > 0 or min (p_Ap_B, (1 - p_A)(1 - p_B), when D_ij < 0. The correct formula was used for the calculation of all estimates of D′_ij given in the paper.
