FERNANDA RUIZ, ANGELES ORTEGA, BEGOÑA GRANADINO, LUIS VICENTE, CARMEN SEGARRA, JUÁN VALCÁRCEL and LUCAS SÁNCHEZ (Genetics 155: 129139) entitled "The Drosophila fl(2)d Gene, Required for Female-Specific Splicing of Sxl and tra Pre-mRNAs, Encodes a Novel Nuclear Protein With a HQ-Rich Domain," on page 129 in the second paragraph in lines 8 to 12 the text should be: "virilizer (vir) (HILFIKER et al. 1995), which encodes a protein of 1854 amino acids without significant homologies to proteins in databases (M. NIESSEN and R. NÖTHIGER, personal communication)."
