CORRIGENDUM

In the article by Luiz O. F. Penalva, M. Fernanda Ruiz, Angeles Ortega, Begoña Granadino, Luis Vicente, Carmen Segarra, Juán Valcárcel, and Lucas Sánchez (Genetics 155:129-139) entitled "The Drosophila fl(2)d Gene, Required for Female-Specific Splicing of Sxl and tra Pre-mRNAs, Encodes a Novel Nuclear Protein With a HQ-Rich Domain," on page 129 in the second paragraph in lines 8 to 12 the text should be: "virilizer (vir), which encodes a protein of 1854 amino acids without significant homologies to proteins in databases (M. Niessen and R. Nöthiger, personal communication)".
