CORRIGENDUM
In Gillies, C. B., 1979 The relationship between synaptinemal complexes, recombination nodules and crossing over in Neurospora crassa bivalents and translocation quadrivalents. Genuetics 91: 1–17.
Due to a most unfortunate typesetter misunderstanding, the spelling on "synaptonemal" was converted to "synaptinemal" throughout the paper just before going to press. The title of the paper should have appeared as "The relationship between synaptonemal complexes, recombination nodules and crossing over in Neurospora crassa bivalents and translocation quadrivalents" and should be cited this way.
The spelling "synaptinemal" is correct in only three cases: the references cited for Moses (1968), Radu et al. (1976) and Westergaard and von Wettstein (1972). In all other cases the spelling should be "synaptonemal".
